O.Reg.127 Emission Calculation and Reporting Software

A user-friendly software package was prepared for the Aggregate Producers of Ontario member companies. This flexible model allowed for various types of typical equipment to be selected from "drop?down" lists. The model is interactive and the information requested is a function of options chosen. Emissions are calculated using government approved air emission factors. Site?specific parameters may be entered for greater accuracy or the suggested default values may be used if no data is available. Various control technologies may be selected to account for the reduction in emissions. Contaminants are identified as being above their criteria and required to be reported. The program produces a report suitable for submission to the MOE.


Completion of Annual NPRI Reports

SENES annually examines production, process emissions, releases and disposal of NPRI substances from various clients across Canada. Environment Canada's (EC) NPRI reporting software is used to compile the information, which is then verified by the client and submitted to EC prior to June 1st each year.
