The study of radioactivity and ionizing
radiation is one of our major strengths. We have completed more than 1000
projects involving numerous aspects of environmental, ecological, and
occupational radioactivity. These projects have ranged from the assessment of
naturally occurring levels of radioactivity and the development of clean-up
(remediation) criteria for soils contaminated with low levels of radioactivity,
to assessments of the highest grade uranium mines in the world and the disposal
of spent nuclear fuel. In addition, we offer services in a number of speciality
areas, including uncertainty analysis, epidemiology and dose reconstruction.
We have worked for industry, government and public interest groups
across Canada and around the world. In combination with a number of
complementary disciplines available in-house, we feel strongly that the overall
depth and breadth of our expertise in radioactivity is difficult to match.
