AQUATIC DATA
INTERPRETATION

Data interpretation involves technical review of the available information on the aquatic environment to: assess the adequacy and reliability of the data; determine water and sediment quality conditions; measure the health of the biological communities; identify chemical, physical and radiological stressors; and assess the impact of project activation. Statistical methods are used to summarize and analyze the available data for input to further modelling or analysis. Programs for additional sampling and test work are also recommended, where required.
