WATER RESOURCES MANAGEMENT

  • Preliminary engineering design of stormwater management (SWM) facilities (i.e., detention dry and wet ponds, sewers, swales and ditches) and development of technical SWM plans required for environmental assessments and watershed impact assessments;
  • Hydrologic and hydraulic modelling using SWMHYMO, SWMM/PCSWMM, Stormceptor and HydroCAD software;
  • Modelling of surface water flow and profile analysis through river systems, including bridge and culvert hydraulics, and flood plain studies using FEMA approved HEC-RAS;
  • Peer review and development of SWM policy and guidelines;
  • Investigation of climate change effects on hydrologic processes (i.e., precipitation, runoff, IDF curves, etc) through statistical data analysis and numerical modeling (e.g., MATLAB, SAS);
  • Preparation and submission of permitting applications (e.g., Certificate of Approvals for Industrial Sewage Works) and supporting documentation.
